Simon Barber
Neighbourhood - through the peoples eye
Working with Slough Neighbourhood and Young People Services
I spent the summer of 2015 using photography to reflect on what people thought about where they lived.
I spent time with individuals and groups chatting about what it was like living where they did.
The good and the bad and how this could be represented in images.
The result is a collaboration.
With the adults I was acting as an assistant being directed as to what and where to take the picture
The young people made their own images and we then worked together on post production.
They chose the places around Slough for their portraits.
